Our values
Empower people
We serve our neighborhoods and support local businesses. We go beyond self-interest, always taking our community into account. We empower each other with trust and autonomy, because we think that’s the best way to solve the big problems and to build a sustainable future.
Be passionate, be authentic, be kind
We are mission-driven. We value each other and our community. We celebrate milestones and moments, both at Serve and in our personal life.
Deliver delight
Both to our customers or to each other! We exceed customer expectations. We bring joy to our work and to our neighborhoods.
Designing a more sustainable future for cities and communities
The Beginning
Serve Robotics is founded as the robotics division of Postmates, asking a simple question: “What if delivery was designed for people, not traffic?”
Innovation Unit
Serve begins developing proprietary data and delivery systems inside Postmates X, laying the foundation for autonomous sidewalk delivery.
Independent Company
Serve spins out from Postmates (acquired by Uber) and becomes an independent company focused on sustainable, self-driving delivery.
First Commercial Deliveries
Launch of the first autonomous deliveries in Los Angeles, completing tens of thousands of contactless trips. Serve achieves Level 4 autonomy, making it one of the first AV companies to reach this milestone.
Uber Partnership Expands
Serve signs a commercial contract with Uber Eats to deploy up to 2,000 robots across multiple U.S. markets — one of the largest agreements in the AV industry.
Public Listing & Manufacturing
Serve completes its go-public transaction and begins trading under OTCQB: SBOT. The first robots roll off the manufacturing line in partnership with Magna International, a Tier 1 automotive supplier.
Scaling Nationwide
Serve expands to five major U.S. metros including Los Angeles, Miami, Dallas, Atlanta, and Chicago. Fleet grows to 400+ robots, with over 2,500 restaurants and 100,000+ deliveries completed.
